I believe the Lord loves us in such a personal way we will be astounded when we see Him face to face.
The Bible says ' we will see Him as He is', and we will be like Him'.
No, we will not be God but have a new body like unto His.
As we read and study His Word we draw closer to Him in our spirit.
Then, one day we will pass from this body to be with Him in our glorified body and dwell eternally with Him.
In this life we have many trials, struggles and tempations.
Yet, " all things work together for good to them who are the called according to his purpose'. Rom.8:28
Studying Gods' Word draws us closer in our daily walk with Jesus.
Though we will not reach perfection while in this fleshly body
we can know a peace and assurance that others may not know.
Do you tend to get bogged down in doing 'church'? Are you too busy doing good works that you have little time to spend quietly with the Lord?
At one time in my life that was too true!
I was busy but not growing spiritually or fellowshipping daily with the Lord.
I was at the church building daily doing one thing or another.
Yes, I was visiting and witnessing and yet felt dry and unfruitful.
It became a chore to just get motivated.
We can be so 'religious' yet missing the Savior's blessings.
Sometimes we need to stop and recharge, let our hearts dwell on Jesus and commune in prayer.
Jesus loves me this I know.....but He wants our personal time so we
can really know the joy of our salvation.
If we lose the JOY how can we persuade others that Jesus is Lord and the greatest gift to man from God the Father?
Read the Word,, share the Good News, but be sure to fellowship with the Father and the Son.
